Who am I?

Hey 🤙 my name is Dimitri Grisard and I’ve turned my passion for IT into a profession. Initially geared towards computer network engineering and administration, the lack of automation in this field led me to turn to DevOps.

Why DevOps? My desire and need to automate certain tasks led me to explore a SysOps role initially, offering great freedom and an incredible opportunity. This experience enabled me to create tools (in Golang), reinforcing my desire to pursue a DevOps role. I was looking not to be limited to infrastructure, by occasionally combining development and/or working closely with developers to help them in their day-to-day work.

Today, I write sporadically on this blog to share feedback, studies and tutorials, mainly on DevOps topics, but not exclusively.

I’m also an avid traveller in remote areas of our world and adventurer in hostile environments 🏔️🌊🏜️.
